David Bennun is an action sports entrepreneur, philanthropist, and author. As the CEO of X-Games Productions, he oversees the management of the X Games, ESPN's X Games, and ESPN3's X Games Live. Under his leadership, the X Games has become the premier action sports competition in the world. He was named "Entrepreneur of the Year" by Ernst & Young (2002), X Prize Foundation (2004) and Ernst & Young (2006)

He also serves on the boards of directors for Good360 (a non-profit that offers pro bono services to help end poverty), ESPN (a member of the Disney Media Networks family), and The Proskauer Rose Foundation. David was instrumental in starting The New York City Marathon after serving as race director for two previous editions. He is an active philanthropist who has given millions to several causes including his hometown of New York City, Temple Emanu-El, The Los Angeles Sports Council, and The United Way.
He holds a BA in Commerce from Yeshiva University where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in 1995.
